In California, it is not required to obtain a law degree as a precondition in becoming a lawyer. Kim is taking part in the California Law Office or Judge\u2019s Chamber Program as an apprentice and it\u2019s required to do so for four years. After passing the baby exam, Kim has to eventually pass the California state bar exam, which Kim announced she will do this year. The 26-year-old was driving a truck when he lost control over the vehicle and drove into multiple cars, causing four deaths. He was sentenced to life but shortly after, criminal justice reform advocates started a petition to reduce his sentence. The Governor stated in a letter to Rogel, <\/span>\u201cThe length of your 110-year sentence is simply not commensurate with your actions, nor with penalties handed down to others for similar crimes.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/i>He continued with, <\/span>\u201cThere is an urgency to remedy this unjust sentence and restore confidence in the uniformity and fairness of our criminal justice system, and consequently I have chosen to commute your sentence now.\u201d <\/span><\/i>Kim has also worked on prison reforms<\/a><\/span> with former President Donald J. Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n Kim posted in her <\/span>Instagram<\/a><\/span> stories addressing Colorado Governor Jared., <\/span>\u201cThank you @Govofco for taking action to reduce Mr. Aguilera-Mederos sentence!’ Kardashian said. ‘While his new sentence is 10 years, he will now have an opportunity to come home in five years and be with his son and wife.\u201d <\/span><\/i>Rogel hasn\u2019t been the first, Kim openly advocated for. Prior to that she worked with federal authorities to release Alice Marie Johnson, who was incarcerated for life as the result of a 1996 non-violent drug charge.
