{"id":27475,"date":"2022-01-06T16:23:21","date_gmt":"2022-01-06T16:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cjstudents.com\/?p=27475"},"modified":"2022-01-06T16:23:21","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T16:23:21","slug":"in-person-visitation-at-office-of-juvenile-justice-secure-care-facilities-suspended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cjstudents.com\/index.php\/2022\/01\/06\/in-person-visitation-at-office-of-juvenile-justice-secure-care-facilities-suspended\/","title":{"rendered":"In-person visitation at Office of Juvenile Justice Secure Care Facilities suspended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<\/p>\n<div id=\"highlight-story-03CA281D-12F2-44D7-A34240CEDF7E6721\">\n<div class=\"article-content\">\n<p>BATON ROUGE &#8211; According to a Thursday morning news release, the Office of Juvenile Justice will begin limiting the number of visitors, contractors, and deliveries on secure care campuses until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say the new restrictions are the result of the current surge in positive COVID-19 cases in Louisiana. <\/p>\n<p>As of January 6, 2022, all in-person family visitation is suspended, but video visitation will continue.<\/p>\n<p>OJJ says it will analyze data and guidance from state and national public health officials to decide when it will be appropriate for visitation to resume.<\/p>\n<p>Since the pandemic began, related protocol requires all individuals entering secure care facilities to be screened per public health guidelines, which includes a temperature check.
