(<strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.klfy.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">KLFY<\/a><\/strong>) Three families waiting eight years for justice in the deaths of their loved ones left the Vermilion Parish court today with heavy hearts. <\/p>\n<p>Derek Viator, accused of three murders, accepted a plea deal with the state to lower his sentence.<\/p>\n<p>News Ten\u2019s Neale Zeringue was inside the courthouse and shares the details of the plea deal and how the families feel about it.<\/p>\n<p>Derek Viator, his attorneys, and the<strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/districtattorney15thjdc.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\"> district attorney\u2019s office<\/a><\/strong> all signed this plea deal in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>It broadly says in exchange for giving the location of Tyler Domingue\u2019s remains, you will give me 30 years in prison for three killings.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nlp-ignore-block article-content rich-text\">\n<aside class=\"promo-link\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.klfy.com\/top-stories-news\/body-found-after-5-years-missing-more-arrests-expected-for-murder\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" class=\"promo-link__link\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\tBody found after 5 years missing; More arrests expected for murder\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s the devil. He had to make a deal with the devil to get Tyler back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Derek Viator was accused of three first-degree murders of Tyler Domingue in 2014 and months earlier the combined murders of Abigail Clark and Cody Fell.<\/p>\n<p>Each crime more gruesome than the one which before.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is a brutal killer. Not only did he murder Cody and Abby.
