{"id":29834,"date":"2022-03-18T19:40:24","date_gmt":"2022-03-18T19:40:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cjstudents.com\/?p=29834"},"modified":"2022-03-18T19:40:24","modified_gmt":"2022-03-18T19:40:24","slug":"rigby-files-to-run-for-superior-court-judge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cjstudents.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/18\/rigby-files-to-run-for-superior-court-judge\/","title":{"rendered":"Rigby Files To Run For Superior Court Judge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>MADERA \u2013<\/strong> Deputy District Attorney Katherine Rigby formally filed her paperwork to run for Madera County Superior Court Judge in the June 7 primary.\u00a0 Rigby was honored to have 8 of the Madera County Superior Court Judges present with her showing their support when she filed.<\/p>\n<p>Rigby is a fourth generation Maderan and grew up here since birth.\u00a0 After attending Madera schools she attended Fresno State as a Smittcamp Family Honors College Scholar and Craig School of Business Scholar.\u00a0 Rigby attended law school at McGeorge School of Law where she earned her law degree and her MBA.\u00a0 She interned at the Governor\u2019s Office of Legal Affairs, the Department of Food and Agriculture, as well as local Valley firms.<\/p>\n<p>When Rigby was sworn in as a member of the California State Bar she eagerly returned to Madera to begin the practice of law.\u00a0 She worked for the Ciummo &amp; Associates\u2019 Madera Alternate Defense office where she represented hundreds of children in the Juvenile Dependency and Delinquency Courts here in Madera.<\/p>\n<p>Rigby was then invited to join the firm of Gilmore, Wood, Vinnard &amp;
