Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle Sunday driving 66 mph in a 30 mph zone on Main Street in Jamestown. The vehicle eventually stopped on Spring Street. Bennett was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests and later provided a breath sample of 0.17%. He is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court later. <\/p>\n<p>JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u00af A 16-year-old juvenile, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers stopped a vehicle at 10:32 a.m. Sunday in the area of Grant and East Seventh streets. During the stop, a 16-year-old attempted to flee and was later found with a loaded handgun. He was being held for arraignment in Family Court. <\/p>\n<p>LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u00af Jessica Wolfgang, 41, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fugitive from justice following a bad check complaint Thursday at Northwest Bank on East Fairmount Avenue. Wolfgang was also allegedly found with a small quantity of a narcotic drug, and a check revealed she was wanted in Warren, Pa. Wolfgang was taken to Chautauqua County Jail on the fugitive from justice warrant. Charges for bad checks are pending. <\/p>\n<p>CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF\u2019S OFFICE<\/p>\n<p>\u00af DUNKIRK \u2014 Addam V. Tofil, 33, of Dunkirk, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a BAC of 0.18% or higher and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies were called at 7:56 p.m. Friday to a reported fight on Middle Road in the town of Dunkirk. An investigation found that Tofil allegedly engaged in an altercation with another person. It was also learned that Tofil drove to the incident while he was intoxicated. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. <\/p>\n<p>\u00af William Canby, 67, of Jamestown, was charged with unsafe lane change, driving while intoxicated and driving with a BAC of more than 0.08%. Deputies stopped Canby at 9:08 p.m. Friday for an unsafe lane change on Washington Street in Jamestown. Canby was allegedly found to be intoxicated following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court later. <\/p>\n<p>ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u00af Jimmy L. Watts, 47, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree harassment. Officers responded at 7:50 a.m. Thursday to a 911 hangup call on Howard Avenue. It was found that Watts had allegedly violated a stay away order of protection when he entered a woman\u2019s home without permission and became physically abusive. Watts also removed a wallet belonging to the woman before fleeing the scene. Watts was located a short time later and was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. <\/p>\n<p>\u00af Joshua M. Zavala, 27, no address listed, was charged with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing and\/or blood circulation. Officers responded at 9:20 a.m. Thursday to a reported domestic dispute in the town of Ellicott. An investigation found that Zavala allegedly struck another person and placed his hand around the victim\u2019s neck obstructing their breathing.
