Her competitor, Will Jones, has raised around $144,000.<\/p>\n<p>The money Arkansas Justice and Public Safety PAC has spent so far, has gone to research, polling, and consulting in support of Walton. That included about $40,000 towards airing ads on seven Little Rock stations, the Arkansas Times <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/arktimes.com\/arkansas-blog\/2022\/04\/29\/soros-money-arrives-in-arkansas-to-work-in-prosecuting-attorney-election\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:reported\" class=\"link \">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/mothers-recall-los-angeles-da-george-gascon-does-not-care-about-victims\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:MOTHERS RALLYING TO RECALL LA DA GEORGE GASCON SAY HE \u2018DOES NOT CARE ABOUT VICTIMS'; DA DEFENDS REFORMS\" class=\"link \"><strong>MOTHERS RALLYING TO RECALL LA DA GEORGE GASCON SAY HE \u2018DOES NOT CARE ABOUT VICTIMS&#8217;; DA DEFENDS REFORMS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Watson, a public defender, told <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blackconsumernews.com\/attorney-alicia-walton-looks-to-make-history-as-pulaski-countys-first-black-and-female-prosecuting-attorney\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:Black Consumer News\" class=\"link \">Black Consumer News<\/a> she would bring her experience in the criminal justice system \u2013 both as a prosecutor and a crime victim \u2013 to the position she is seeking.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With that experience in mind, I will work to empower the victims, dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline, provide a pathway for those with mental health and substance abuse challenges.
