JAMES CITY COUNTY \u2014 The James City County Police Department is seeking funding for enhancing law enforcement programs through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program in the amount of $11,818, it announced Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The department plans to use the grant to fund the purchases of a traffic data recorder, dash-mounted directional radars, and breathalyzers.<\/p>\n

The James City County Police Department welcomes public comment on the intended use of the grant funds. Those wishing to do so should contact Tayleb Brooks at 757-259-5173 or at tayleb.brooks@jamescitycountyva.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
