I have known Ed Rabasco for over 12 years. I have worked with him on the RSU 16 School Board (Poland, Mechanic Falls and Minot). He\u2019s a leader on our board. <\/span><\/p>\n

Other members look to him for guidance. He is committed to the education of our young people. We are lucky to have him.<\/span><\/p>\n

That same commitment applies to his approach to our criminal justice system. He is a very experienced local attorney. Many of the ways we treat criminal defendants in our system only causes them to commit more crimes. These crimes include repeated domestic violence. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our system doesn\u2019t do all it can to prevent crime in the first place. Many people are charged with the same crimes repeatedly. That is a clear indication that something is wrong with our approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spending millions of dollars building more prisons is not the answer. I hope voters support Ed Rabasco for district attorney.<\/span><\/p>\n
