‘Reproductive justice’ rally planned for downtown Juneau on Saturday

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – The Juneau Pro-Choice Coalition will hold a reproductive justice rally in Juneau on Saturday, June 25.
According to Nancy Courtney, speaking on behalf of the JPCC board, the rally will be held at 4 p.m. at the Dimond Courthouse.
The rally comes the day after the U.S. Supreme Court ended constitutional protections for abortion that had been in place for nearly 50 years, in a decision by its conservative majority to overturn Roe v. Wade.
JPCC is combining efforts to hold the rally.
Senator Jesse Kiehl, Rep. Sara Hannan, and community advocates are set to speak at the event.
