In our research, teaching, and professional engagement, we bridge the divide between professional, theoretical and public interests. Our areas of interest within counter-terrorism studies are broad, including countering violent extremism, political violence, online recruitment, and mapping right-wing movements. The SSC counter-terrorism stream works closely with colleagues across our interdisciplinary department, including the strategic studies, intelligence, cybersecurity, and criminology streams.
