BU to host Dr. Shauntey James to speak about gender, race and the courts | Local

BLOOMSBURG — Bloomsburg University is hosting Dr. Shauntey James, an assistant teaching professor of criminal justice in the School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg, to speak about gender, race and the court system at 5 p.m. Monday, April 4, in the Kehr Union Multicultural Center. The event is free and open to the public.
James received her doctor of philosophy in sociology with an emphasis on criminology, criminal justice and feminist theory in 2000 from Western Michigan University and her law degree in 2014 from Thomas Cooley Law School.
