A recent attack on staff at the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center comes not even a week after Governor Andy Beshear unveiled a sweeping plan to increase safety and overcome staffing shortages in Kentucky’s Juvenile Detention System.
In an announcement made last Thursday, the governor highlighted a series of actions he took last year to try to defuse the risks of violence in detention centers.
