LAPEER — Ashton Light, senior, signed with St. Clair County Community College after also looking at Albion and Adrian.
“The college has a good academic reputation,” said Light of his choice. He plans to study criminal justice.
Light noted that his challenges will be time management and living on his own for the first time.
“I will start at the 157 lb. weight class,” added Light. “I’d like to thank my mom, dad, coaches and girlfriend, Karlie.
Light has wrestled since the age of six and also ran cross country as a freshman and played football in his sophomore and junior years. — L.P.
